"Future-ready" Leadership

Strengthening the "adaptability" muscle.

A company's ability to grow lies on leader's capacity to adapt in order to move forward at scale, and to sustain organisation's transformation.

Leaders who think holistically, prioritise areas that have been identified as levers towards greater organisation's performance.

Leaders who have at heart the success of the company and, within it, the people who drive forwards their strategic efforts, take positive steps across the following five key dimensions of the employee - employer journey:

  • Talent recruitment and retention: A positive people experience starts with recruitment and continues throughout the entire employee journey. Positive leadership creates an enablement-oriented workplace that attracts the right talent and will have a competitive advantage to retain it on the long term.

LinkedIn’s Workforce Learning Report found that 94% of employees would stay at a company longer if it invested in their learning.

  • Health and wellbeing: Leaders who rely on data to inform strategic decisions, analyse trends and people metrics to identify and implement wellness solutions that respond to the needs of the company and its people. Proactive leadership intervention supersedes contingent action that is merely palliative.

  • Managing the new hybrid workforce: Leaders who drive forward the evolution of the workplace, leverage innovation and technology to create bridges that connect people in person and remotely.

According to ONS figures, in February 2022, 84% of people working from home because of the pandemic were planning to continue with hybrid working.

  • Employer brand goes hand in hand with company culture: Purposeful and meaningful work sit high in employee's sentiment; leaders who set clear direction, embody behaviours that inspire, engage, empower and propel people forward, execute strategy consistently and with a common goal in mind, forge cultures in which people thrive and want to stay, creating positive experiences that resonate with the end client/customer and the communities they serve.

  • L&D: Leaders who build company's resilience by embedding and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in which coaching, learning and development are key drivers towards greater performance, will set themselves apart; they will bring about lasting transformation within the internal eco-system, and harvest the long term returns on the initial investment.
