4 Wellness Reset Rituals to Embrace the Fall Season


Fall Season is here.


It is my favourite time of the year: An all-encompassing spectacle of colours and light catches the eyes, as a more gentle sun casts a golden glow over the woodland and surrounding fields.


There is something magical about autumn. Mother Earth has an innate intelligence that is observable in every shift and change of season.


Fall encourages to return to a natural state of flow that reinforces a deeper inner connection.


Noticing and leaning into the shifts of autumn helps reset the internal rhythm, enhancing our wellness.

Autumn is a time for release, gently letting go while cultivating a sense of curiosity for what is unfolding before us.


The season encourages to move inward, to find familiarity in the shorter days and longer nights, nourishing the mind by taking care of our emotional and physical wellbeing.


Rituals or positive habits, expand our capacity for mindful presence, enhancing mind-body connection, strengthening nervous system regulation, helping to release tension, anxiety and emotional baggage that you may be carrying unconsciously.


They enhance the feeling of being grounded, expanding the sense of safety within your body and in the surrounding environment; in turn, sustaining focus and making you more resilient.


Here, few practices to support you during this time and beyond:


🍁Take daily breaks to recharge, by focusing on your breath: Observe how your body responds as you make space for conscious breathing.


🍁 Attune to Nature's Wisdom: Change can be good. Look at the autumn leaves in their shimmering colours. They fell on the ground not because they do not serve their mother tree rather they transformed.


Perspective broadens, bringing the element of conscious choice at the fore, sustaining a natural shift towards growth.


🍁 Take stock of the year thus far: The good, the bad and the ugly. All is part of the vast tapestry of life and of our human experience. Journal on the what, how and why they served you.


🍁Create daily space for just "Being", sitting or laying on a warm blanket, tuning to your body's cues, and following the emerging wisdom: Your needs. To stretch, to walk, to dance, to read, to connect with others, to let go of the heaviness.
