Wellbeing & Organisation resilience.

Defined as the ability to adapt and grow following adversity, resilience is a key driver to organisational performance and growth. A resilient work environment creates practices and initiatives that support people's wellbeing across all levels of the organisation. Human-centric ecosystems identify the risk factors and the triggers to long-term stress, and puts in place bespoke strategies that empower people to manage work challenges effectively and proactively, building their resilience to change. When stress levels exceed people's ability to maintain resilience, there is a high likelihood for them to be exposed to and experience burnout which hinders organisational growth, adversely impacting retention, performance, and productivity. A human-centric organisation creates systems and processes that would equip people with the right tools to identify and manage stressors, augmenting their self-awareness thus increasing their ability to self-regulate during challenging times and when organisational change is a strategic need. Wellbeing networks build readiness to change, enhancing people's ability to adjust and find further opportunities for growth when change arises. A human-centric organisation is intentional about shaping a trust-based ecosystem where rewards, recognition, openness and psychological safety are key metrics of its health, where communications provide people with the emotional support that elicits positive and sustainable change in the organisation. When designing systems and processes centred around people and the company's growth roadmap, leaders must consider how to inspire participation that can produce positive shifts in the health of the organisation, transforming people's relationship with work challenges. Encouraging conversations and action around the six dimensions of the framework as shown below, can heighten feelings of connection, contribution and shared-value that would boost resilience, providing the space for people to feel heard and valued through authentic dialogue from a dimension of presence, empathy and safety.
